Indication: Typhoid fever, Sinusitis, Pharyngitis, Tonsillitis, Bronchitis, Pneumonia, Skin, and soft tissue infection, Pelvic inflammatory disease, Gonorrhea.

Dosage & Administration:

Adult Oral Dose: 1.5 gm of Azithromycin is given as 500 mg for 3 days.

Children Oral dose: Children over 6 months of age are 10mg/kg bodyweight for 3 days or alternatively 10mg/kg for day 1 and 5mg/kg for the next 4 days.
