Rabeprazole



Indication: Peptic Ulcer, Acid Related Dyspepsia, Peptic Ulcer, Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), Helicobacter pylori infection, Duodenal and Gastric Ulcer, Zollinger-ellison syndrome, NSAID associated ulceration

Dosage & Administration:

Adult Oral Dose: Peptic Ulcers: 20 mg tablet once in the morning for 4 to 8 weeks( duodenal Ulcer) and for 6-12 weeks( Gastric Ulcer). Reflux esophagitis: 20 mg tablet daily for 4 to 8 weeks. May be continue for another 8 weeks if healing is incomplete. Helicobacter pylori: Triple therapy of Rabetem 20 mg twice daily in combined with Clarithromycin 500 mg bid and amoxicillin 1 gm bid or combined with clarithromycin 250 mg bid and metronidazole 400 mg bid. Zollinger-Ellison syndrome: Initially 60 mg once in the morning. Adjusted to 120 mg/day if needed.
